2nd place champs

Had a 2 day basketball tournament in mount curry.   We lost the championship game by 6 points and ended up coming 2nd.  I’m stoked because that team plays university basketball and us guys are pretty washed up.  Next year we will take state!

Ron Artest

From Queensbridge, New York, Ron Artest is a pure beast.  He might not be the smartest/ most effective offensive player but he is an animal on defense, you could easily say he is one of the best.   He is also one of the toughest and craziest player in the league, from him fighting with fans or admitting to drinking hennessy during halftime.  Anyway, he raps now, well his album has been out for a while, but you should peep it, here’s his vid.

maestro – tyreke evans

A lot of people from back in the day new that I loved to play basketball, so much so that I would play every chance I could, basketball was literally on my mind 24/7.  It’s pretty crazy how I ended up quitting the sport for about 8/9 years, I had my reasons.  Anyway over the summer, I fell back in love with the sport, a lot of my friends who  know me out here thinkt I’m completely nuts, just because I would be by myself for hours shooting a ball.   To them it was weird but to me it just brought back memories…memories of basketball camps, basketball tournaments, play offs, winning, loosing, team work, friends,  trips…etc etc.   Still playing basketball as we speak, I play indoor pick up 2/3 times a week, still rusty as hell, but it’s a work in progress.   Here’s a cool video from a guy who goes as maestro..the video is about tyreke evans, an nba player.

LBJ

A lot of people might not know this but basketball was a huge part of my life.  I was more into basketball then any other sport / activity ever.  I’ve been watching the play offs religiously and I’m getting back into it.  Right now my favourite team is the Oklahoma Thunder; there very talented for being a young team and I think they’re going to beat the Lakers in the series.     I bought a basketball the other day and I’ve been having basketball games with friends at Meadow Basketball court.  Should be a dope summer, I’m stoked.
