Adam Yauch – fuck cancer

I grew up listening to the beastie boys, they helped shape my childhood.  I actually had no idea that Adam died  till I heard the news through a  DJ  djing  at a club.   Such a heavy blow, my roots run deep with the beastie boys..

The first time I heard this song when I was a kid, I swear I had a seizure.  Music video is dope too.  Wide screen it

2nd place champs

Had a 2 day basketball tournament in mount curry.   We lost the championship game by 6 points and ended up coming 2nd.  I’m stoked because that team plays university basketball and us guys are pretty washed up.  Next year we will take state!

fuck is nature ever cool.

it gets real crazy around the 1:05 mark.

Fuck i love nature,  it scares me with what’s going on in the world today and how fucked the world will be in the next 20 years.  If the 4th reactor falls apart, which most likely it will, because there unable to fix it. (So much radiation in that area that machines can’t even work in that environment without breaking down)  at Fukushima power plant, it will be the biggest catastrophe in the history of the world.  85x the radiation will be pouring out into the ocean.   It’s way worse than the Chernobyl accident in 1986, and it hasn’t even got to the bad part.  It is actually depressing, it bums me out.  Us humans will be the cause of our extinction, we just can’t figure it out. It’s fucking retarded. I Guess were going to have to enjoy the world and soak it up as much as we can because soon enough we won’t be able too.

And the crazy thing is, most people won’t, the majority of people don’t realize how beautiful the world is.  Like… take a walk, look outside the window..notice birds flying, trees moving in the wind, clouds in the sky, it’s easily the most beautiful things ever, but we forget that.  The majority of people would rather watch a show about nature then actually going out in nature.  This fact alone is one of the reasons why were destroying the world because we don’t see what were doing.

It’s so hard to soak in the realities of this event and how it will effect the world.  Most people have no idea, I have even told some people and they haven’t even registered because its fucking horrible…it’s that bad.   The crazy thing is too,  the ocean was already fucked from before because were fucking stupid..and with the BP oil spill 2 summers ago and now this…were truly fucked…and once the ocean goes, we go.

Coldplay live in Vancouver

I was on this incredible high that didn’t involve any drugs.  Coldplay is one of my favorite bands, they inspire me to be my best and seeing them live was just unreal.  I felt like a kid again, I was so jittery, so excited that I was having an OVERLOAD of AWESOMENESS.  There was so much shit going off in the venue, balloons everwhere, confetti everwhere, amazing lights, braceletes flashing that it was hard to take it in all at once.   You seeing this video probably think we were high as fuck, well maybe we were, but it was us being high on life.
